How does it work?

1) Patient-Prescriber Consultation

Consult with your patient in person or remotely, and decide on the appropriate treatment. Then simply log in to your eScripts account to issue a prescription.

2) Patient Receives Prescription

Patient then receives an email and text message with the prescription details. They can then take this to any UK pharmacy to collect their medication.

3) Pharmacy Dispensing

The pharmacy will dispense the medication as per the prescription details, ensuring your patient receives their treatment quickly and safely.

To register your clinic with eScripts, simply click the "Register Your Clinic" button on this page and complete the short registration form. During initial login, you will be asked to assign a Prescribing Lead and upload suitable ID. Once your account is approved, you can start issuing electronic private prescriptions to your patients.

Yes, eScripts are legally valid private prescriptions in the UK. Our system is fully compliant with The Human Medicines Regulations 2012, Veterinary Medicines Regulations 2013 and Misuse of Drugs Act 1971, ensuring that your electronic prescriptions are secure, traceable, and legally binding for dispensing at any UK pharmacy.

New registrants are issued with a 1 month free trial OR 1000 tokens, whichever is reached first. After this, eScripts charges a small fee of £1+VAT per prescription issued. There are no monthly fees or hidden charges, and you only pay for the prescriptions you issue.
